Contents Insurance Optional Cover

With Kogan Contents Insurance, you have the power to customise your policy. The following options are available for Contents Insurance.

Portable Contents option

Some of your most important belongings need to travel with you. For an additional premium, you can cover your portable valuables away from home with the Portable Contents option.

The Portable Contents option can provide protection for your portable belongings away from your home, for loss or damage within Australia and New Zealand, and for up to 90 consecutive days anywhere else in the world.

You can tailor your cover. We’ll ask you what types of items you’d like to cover away from home. Categories include:

• mobile phones
• jewellery and watches
• portable electronic devices
• bicycles
• recreational, hobby items and clothing
• permitted medical and health items
• collections

You can call 1300 034 888 if you need more cover than the category limit, which will then be considered. If approved, the items will be reflected on your Certificate of Insurance.

Accidental Damage option

No matter how careful we are, accidents can still happen around the home. When adding the Accidental Damage option, this can provide cover for unforeseen accidents around the home.

What’s included

• Accidental damage to your contents, including damage caused by power surge
• Accidental loss of your contents that can’t be recovered after you have taken reasonable steps to try to find or recover them
